Braga elected "European Innovative City on the Rise"

Braga was distinguished as "Innovative European City on the Rise" in the 10th edition of the iCapital Awards.

At the 10th edition of the iCapital Awards, which took place at the Web Summit in Lisbon, Braga was named “European Innovative City on the Rise” – an incredible achievement for a city that is pushing the boundaries of sustainable innovation.

Competing with cities such as Linz (Austria) and Oulu (Finland), Braga stood out for its commitment to building a robust and sustainable innovation ecosystem.

The win not only brought Braga a €500,000 prize, but also a place on the European Innovation Council Forum working group, joining the ranks of leading European cities in innovation.
