The fame of Vidago’s waters crossed borders, with awards received in Madrid, Paris, Vienna, and Rio de Janeiro between 1876 and 1889.
Today, the tradition lives on through the modern Vidago Educational Thermal Spa, inaugurated in 2014 in the restored building of the former railway station.
